Sterling Mudrick

Sterling Mudrick joined JAMaROO Kids in 2024 as a full-time SF-Based Instructor with over a decade of teaching experience which has included teaching dance, martial arts and theater to children of all ages. She has taught in various schools and venues, but has spent the largest amount of time teaching children at Onetta Harris Community Center in Menlo Park.

Sterling’s dance journey began at the age of three. Growing up in Pacifica, California, Sterling was immersed in multiple dance forms, including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Cheer, and Belly Dancing. In her teens, she also pursued martial arts and holds a 2nd degree black belt in Kajukenbo Karate.

She performed in musical theater productions throughout Pacifica, at Skyline College and the City College of San Francisco. Her performance career includes dancing & choreographing for semi-professional sports teams which include the SF Bulls Hockey Team, the Pacifica Islanders Football Team, and the SF Rumble Basketball Team, and in 2006, Sterling won the title of Miss Pacifica!

Outside of work, you can find Sterling spending time with her husband and their two pets, their dog Hamilton and their cat Puzzle. Sterling adores Britney Spears and enjoys everything Disney!

When asked what Sterling enjoys about working for JAMaROO Kids and working with children, she responded with, “I love working at JAMaROO Kids because seeing children grow through dance, yoga, and music brings me so much joy and reminds me of the incredible power of the arts to foster confidence and self-expression.” With an unwavering commitment to fostering creativity, discipline, and joy through movement, Sterling continues to inspire the next generation of performers. Her passion for teaching, combined with her diverse experiences, ensures that her students not only learn the technical aspects of dance, but also cultivate a lifelong love for the arts.
