Tamoshie Adeyemi
Tamoshie Adeyemi joined JAMaROO Kids in 2021 as a full-time teacher. She attended Long Beach City College to pursue an associate’s degree in Child Development and, shortly after, transferred to California State University Long Beach and received her bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies. Eventually, she relocated from socal to norcal in pursuit of opportunities and new cultural experiences.
Prior to joining JAMaROO Kids in 2021, her experience working with young children included working in many school settings for over 6 years with children ranging from infants to 14 years old, teaching dance and cheer to middle schoolers, and creating Reggio Emilio nature-based curriculum. In 2023 Tamoshie left JAMaROO Kids to work at Bright Horizons Schools, a globally recognized corporation that takes pride in bringing early childhood education to its highest standard. She then returned to JAMaROO Kids in 2024 as the Dance Program Director.
Tamoshie has studied different forms of dance since she was a child, including jazz, hiphop, and cheer. She has always enjoyed singing and is currently learning how to play the ukulele.
In Tamoshie’s free time she enjoys baking, attending dance classes, roller skating, and spending time with family and friends.
When Tamoshie was asked what she loves about teaching for JAMaROO Kids and working with children, she said, “It brings me great joy to see them in their natural element doing the things they love! I love seeing children have the opportunity to express themselves through dance, yoga, music and movement.”
Tamoshie’s favorite things are: Trying new vegan foods, collecting mugs, dancing, baking shows, and exploring botanical gardens
