Natalie Ernst

Natalie Ernst joined JAMaROO Kids in 2013 as a full-time teacher with a degree in Child Development from CSU Chico. Her experience working with children prior to joining JAMaROO Kids spans over 10 years and includes working as a preschool teacher at a number of preschools, teaching summer camp, and teaching children’s gymnastics.

Natalie has been singing and playing the guitar since she was a child. She has a background in musical theater and has been formally trained in gymnastics, which she still occasionally practices.

When Natalie isn’t teaching for JAMaROO Kids, you can find her face painting for parties and events and performing with multiple theater groups and improv troupes.

Over the years, Natalie’s role at JAMaROO Kids has grown into a creative contributor position. She often writes original music and creates curriculum and props for the company. She was a co-producer on our original album Celebrate with JAMaROO Kids and you can also find her coloring pages on the JAMaROO Kids Teachers Pay Teachers page. 

When Natalie was asked what she loves about teaching for JAMaROO Kids and working with children, she responded with, “I am extremely grateful to have a job where I am able to bring music and dance to so many children and also have the opportunity to be creative and silly on a regular basis!” 

Natalie’s favorite things are: All of her family dogs, singing in the car, cooking shows, making up silly stories with her sister, mad libs and baking cookies

Fun Natalie Facts: Natalie grew up in a family of musicians and sometimes still performs with her mother, father and sister. Natalie’s parents even had guest appearances on the JAMaROO Kids Album!
